Ants have a varied diet. The search for food by the worker ant often takes them indoors. They eat sugar, fats and grains. Not surprisingly, they are often found in the larder and kitchens during the summer. Ants will travel a long way searching for food, following chemical trails they have established and clustering around the source of food, becoming a nuisance in homes and businesses.

If you’ve found a few ants sneaking into your home, there are steps you can take to help eliminate the problem yourself:

???? Watch carefully to track down where they are coming into your home, and seal off the entry points.
???? Clear up any sticky residues on worktops and tables, because most ants are attracted to ‘sweet things’.
???? Cover up, put away or securely seal any foodstuffs which could be a source of food for ants.

If you are still having trouble with ants in the house, then give Mission Pest Control Swindon a call and we’ll arrange a time to provide our specialist ant treatment.
